Information
ACM is organizing a programming competition on Saturday, February 21 2009. This is a one-day event and it is COMPLETELY FREE! Lunch and dinner will be provided for all volunteers and contestants. There will be one practice session in the morning and an actual competition in the afternoon. Each team will have ONE computer. The actual competition will last 5 hours and will consist of about 8 problems. C, C++, and Java are allowed.
A team is made up of ONE undergraduate students who major in computer related fields like Computer Science (CS), Computer Engineering (CE), and Information Technology (IT). The top teams will get prizes and certificates.
We will try to model this competition as close as possible to the regional competition. For more information, please visit the regional contest page.
If your team is already familiar with this contest and PC2 software, you don't have to come to the practice section. However, if you choose to do so, please let us know when you plan to come so that we can plan accordingly (must be 30 minutes before the real contest starts).
All contest activities will happen in Dragas Hall. Click here for reference materials, schedule and driving instruction.
To register for this competition, please click on the link on the right menu.
Registration deadline: Sunday, February 15 2009. (Early birds will get better workspaces)
