The ODU ACM is organizing a programming competition on Sunday, October 18 2009. This is a one-day event and it is COMPLETELY FREE! Dinner will be provided for all volunteers and contestants. Each team will have ONE computer. The actual competition will last 5 hours and will consist of about 8 problems. C, C++, and Java are allowed.
A team is made up of ONE,TWO, or THREE undergraduate students who major in computer related fields like Computer Science (CS), Computer Engineering (CE), and Information Technology (IT). The top teams will get prizes and certificates.
NOTE: If you are competing to go to the ACM Mid-Atlantic Regional Programming Competition- Please Keep in Mind that your team must be with THREE students. Also, the date for the ACM Mid-Atlantic Competition is Saturday November 7, 2009 at Christopher Newport University (Newport News, VA). Transportation will be provided.
We will try to model this competition as close as possible to the regional competition. For more information, please visit the regional contest page.
